Pacific Sun (PacSun) was founded in 1980 as a little surf shop. They are now one of the top names in teen fashion with nearly 1000 PacSun stores in 50 states offering surf and skate styles nationwide.
With lots of specials and sales, low shipping prices and a generous returns policy, PacSun.com is a good bet for juniors and young shoppers looking for bargains.
Their site is large with separate categories for men’s and women’s items. It’s nicely organized with category links for each gender down the side of the home page, a search box, and links across the top to search certain brands, genders, or whatever is on sale. They also now accept PayPal as a payment option.
The product photos are of good quality, although only the jeans are modeled on people which makes it hard at times to visualize an item on a person.
Product descriptions fall somewhat short. Jeans, especially, need to have more information posted for online shoppers. Tops have better sizing information as do most other items.
Shipping is free for orders over $50 and within the US and $5.00 for orders under $50.00. There are a variety of expedited shipping options as well for different prices depending on speed of shipment.
PacSun is headquartered in Anaheim, California and their distribution center is located in Olathe, Kansas. Regional Director, District Manager and store positions are located throughout the United States
